A family group
The Abzac group belongs to the d’Anglade family. The foundation of the group goes back to 1928, date on which Pierre-Antoine d’ Anglade creates the Abzac Company which manufactures cardboard cores for paper industries of South-west.
As of the decade 1980, for better affirming a policy of growth, a double diversification is undertaken:
– by product, by developing the barrel kraft initially (or was fiber)
– by geographical sector, in order to exceed the limits of South-west
This diversification of the activity is organized thanks to a strategy based on the proximity. Abzac gives itself means of being geographically close to its customers and the markets thanks to his factory network of production.
A professional approach, based on listening, the experience and know-how allows the development of specific solutions adapted to the requirements of the industrial users of cartboard tubes and corners and fibre drums, etc
Today, the corporation preserved its family shareholding. Since the beginning of the years 2000, the 3rd generation of Anglade manages the group. The supervisory board is chaired by Jean-Louis d’ Anglade, son of the founder.
